(North American Industry Classification System) Codes
The
Federal Government assigns a six digit number to all the commodities and
services they purchase. These codes supercede both FSC’s (Federal Stock
Codes) and SIC’s (Standard Industrial Codes) as part of the North
American Fair Trade Act.
Our directory is broken down
into what are called sub-sectors.
For example:
If you were locating a Framing
Contractor you would choose sub-sector 238, Specialty Trade Contractors, the region you are in and the state you
need.
A list of all the different Framing
Contractors serving that state will appear and you can view their line card
for more information. Links to vendors web sites and e-mail addresses are
included.
